Meet and Greet in Redington Pass A Huge Success

The April 6-7 event was an opportunity for recreational users of all stripes to meet with Friends of Redington Pass (FRP) and other public agencies and organizations involved in Redington Pass. We were pleased to be joined by representatives of the Coronado National Forest, AZ Game and Fish Department, the County Sheriff's Office, as well as the OHV Ambassadors Program of the AZ State Parks. Special thanks to those who led the morning bird walks.

We met lots of terrific people (by some counts over 200), some who visit the Pass every week, others who had never ventured up there before, and some who were returning for the first time in decades. We learned of their interests, listened to concerns, answered questions, and provided literature on a variety of topics. Thank you to everyone who signed up and offered to volunteer.

The fantastic turnout at our first-ever FRP Meet and Greet is testament to how many people enjoy and appreciate Redington Pass. If you haven't already, please join our email list. Better yet, become a Friend by joining FRP as a member. You will receive updates on what's happening in the Pass and announcements of upcoming events.
